Kody Blank, MS, Resident In Counseling
Kody Blank is a Resident In Counseling and graduated from James Madison University (Go Dukes!) with her Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences and from Walden University with her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Kody has lived in Fredericksburg for most of her life and considers it home. She has always enjoyed helping people and knew she wanted to make a career of it. She started working in the dental field but knew that she had a bigger purpose and wanted to make a bigger impact on those in her community. This led her to the mental health field and she knows now that this is the career she’s been looking for all along.
She enjoys working with teens, young adults, and couples that are struggling with depression, anxiety, stress, family struggles, and difficulties with coping and adjustments, but she is excited to continue learning and helping even more people outside of that realm. She utilizes cognitive behavior therapy, person-centered and talk therapy to provide a safe and therapeutic environment for clients to process their current struggles.
In her free time, Kody loves spending time with her family and her friends, going the beach, reading, and shopping!
