THERAPIST

Elizabeth Audritsh, MSW, Supervisee In Social Work

Liz is a Supervisee in Social Work (SISW) who graduated with her Bachelor’s in Psychology as well as Master’s of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. Over the past several years, Liz has worked with a diverse population of older adults in both public and private guardianship. She then finished her graduate internship at Virginia Home for Boys and Girls working with LGBTQIA+ adolescents experiencing homelessness as well as adolescents aging out of the foster care system. She has experience working with a wide variety of age groups who have experienced a range of mental and emotional, environmental, and life stressors.

Liz understands that therapy is not “one size fits all” and is a deeply unique experience for everyone. Because of this, Liz emphasizes a collaborative approach that fosters an open line of communication between client and clinician to ensure comfort and success in their journey towards healing. Liz uses an integrative and holistic therapeutic approach, understanding all factors that may play a part in mental and emotional distress. However, she has a particular focus on Cognitive Behavioral frameworks, and is dedicated to meeting each client where they are. Liz is an ENM aware and queer friendly clinician who strives to provide a safe, nonjudgmental, and supportive space for clients to be their authentic selves.
