Hannah Simmons is a Supervisee in Social Work on her journey toward becoming a licensed Social Worker (LCSW). She holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Virginia Commonwealth University (2022). Hannah gained experience in various areas of social work during her practicums, including the Department of Social Services, an Inpatient Psychiatric Facility, a Homeless Shelter, and Hospice & Grief services.
Hannah has gained extensive clinical experience providing therapy to individuals of all ages, from adolescents to older adults. Hannah values the therapeutic process and is committed to meeting each client where they are and supporting them throughout their journey. She is passionate about helping clients develop coping skills, increase their self-awareness, and achieve their goals through a strong personable therapeutic alliance.
