CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST

Dr. Jeanie M. Melendez-Davidson, LCP

Dr. Melendez-Davidson is a Bilingual (English & Spanish) and Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of Virginia. Her background education includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico, and both a Masters and a Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology from Ponce Health Sciences University in Puerto Rico.

Her clinical experience comprises providing evidence-based therapy, performing psychological assessments, and delivering workshops. Her clinical approach is based on Cognitive-Behavioral, Behavioral and Solution Focused theories. Dr. Melendez-Davidson has experience working with anxiety, mood disorders, intellectual disabilities, ADHD, learning disorders, conduct disorders, schizophrenia, and other conditions that may require clinical attention. She has worked with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient and community centers.

Dr. Melendez-Davidson believes that every human being has the ability to learn and work towards achieving its own goals. She also believes that a supportive, trusting and nonjudgmental environment facilitates this learning process, which results in personal growth.
