Dr. Jeanie M. Melendez-Davidson, LCP

Dr. Melendez-Davidson is a Bilingual (English & Spanish) Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of Virginia. 

Dr. Melendez-Davidson believes that every human being has the ability to learn, while also understanding that challenges and difficulties are often part of our learning processes. 

Her clinical experience comprises performing psychological assessments, providing evidence-based therapy, and delivering workshops. Psychological assessments can help assess an individual’s current cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning. They often serve to identify strengths and weaknesses, clarify diagnosis, and provide recommendations to better help you succeed. 

Dr. Melendez-Davidson’s clinical approach is based on Cognitive-Behavioral, Behavioral and Solution Focused theories, aiming to provide a supportive, trusting, and nonjudgmental environment. She has experience testing for, and working with, ADHD, learning disorders, intellectual disabilities, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, bipolar disorders, personality disorders, schizophrenia, and other conditions that may require clinical attention. She has worked with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient and community centers.

Her background education includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico, a Masters and Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology from Ponce Health Sciences University in Puerto Rico, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Neuroscience of Learning.
