Kaley Wresch, MSW, Supervisee In Social Work

Kaley Wresch is a Supervisee in Social Work. She received her B.A. in History and B.S. in Mathematics from Drake University, and started out in academia before realizing she wanted to do more to work directly with people. Kaley then pivoted to pursue her Masters in Social Work from the University of Kentucky. Following the completion of her MSW, Kaley worked in the field of victim services, working with victims and victim advocates all across the state.

Kaley's approach to the therapeutic process aims to focus on the client as the expert in their own experience. She has interest and experience in working with individuals who have experienced trauma, victimization, depression and anxiety, as well as helping individuals and couples work through life transitions. She likes to use techniques from strengths-based practice, cognitive behavioral therapy, and emotionally-focused couples therapy. Kaley practices through a trauma-informed lens, with cultural humility, and celebrates the LGBTQIA+ community. She works with individuals ages 8 and up.
