Kirsten Wachsmann, MS
Kirsten Wachsmann, Resident in Counseling, supports clients in navigating life’s challenges and making progress toward their personal goals. Ms. Kirsten works with children, teens, and adults to address concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. She believes in creating a warm, collaborative environment where clients feel empowered to explore their strengths, gain new insights, and make meaningful changes.
Ms. Kirsten utilizes evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Focused CBT, tailoring her approach to meet the unique needs of each client. With prior experience in outpatient and community service board based settings, Ms. Kirsten has worked with diverse populations, and she is passionate about providing trauma-informed, culturally sensitive care that is also LGBTQIA+ affirming. She holds a Master’s degree in Counseling from Longwood University and is committed to helping clients find practical solutions and build resilience. Ms. Kirsten sees individuals and sibling pairs, ages 5 and up.
