THERAPIST

Kirsten Wachsmann, MS

Kirsten Wachsmann is a Resident In Counseling who graduated with her masters degree in Counseling from Longwood University in 2021.

When life’s challenges continuously build and become more difficult to resolve, they often become too overbearing to manage alone, and result in a severe strain on one’s mental health. However, there is power in choosing to reach out to a professional to assist with navigating these challenges. If you are reading this, it means you have courageously completed the first step in seeking a method of coping, and finding a clinician who works best with you.

Those who know me best describe me as an empathetic and compassionate counselor who is considerate of their clients’ goals, concerns, and overall well-being. My goal as a counselor is to establish a welcoming environment and a strong therapeutic relationship. I have found my clinical strengths in working alongside people who are struggling with trauma, depression, and anxiety. I am committed to continue building on these strengths while hearing your story and talking with you about new pathways to build inner strength from your experiences.
