PRACTICE MANAGER

Lori Bridgwood

Lori was born and raised in Bellport, New York, and before getting married she worked as a secretary in Manhattan. Lori moved to Virginia with her husband in 1995 where they raised their six wonderful children and now enjoy their ten grandchildren.

While having to navigate the mental health field for over a decade for one of their children, Lori developed compassion and empathy for parents and others who are placed in that position.

Lori has been involved in child advocacy and had the opportunity to speak at our State Capital building, she was part of a group of people arguing to overturn the clergy-privilege law. That was successful and a few months later, Gov. Northam signed the bill that made clergy mandated reporters.

Lori considers it a privilege to work for Resilience Counseling, some of the finest people she’s met, and to be one of the first voices people hear when they call.

Lori is a caring professional and prides herself on linking our clients to the best clinician for their needs. Lori goes above and beyond to return phone calls, respond to e-mails and provide current and potential client's with resources and problem solve when concerns may be presented.

To schedule an appointment, make an inquiry or if you have a billing concern please contact Lori by calling (540) 699-0226, Extension 2 or e-mail scheduling@resiliencecounseling.care.
