She uses certain interventions and strategies that derive from different modalities such as: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Contemporary Psychodynamic Therapy, Logotherapy (meaning making), Narrative Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Attachment-Based Therapy. She believes each client is distinctly unique and, therefore, deserves a tailored approach to goal setting and treatment planning. Marisa emphasizes the significance of the therapeutic alliance. She is prepared and excited to establish healing and productive relationships with her clients.
As human beings, we are complex, emotional, and dynamic. Marisa aims to assist clients in addressing and resolving internal and external battles. She is committed to providing a safe space for individuals to reflect, explore, and better understand themselves.
