Sarah Dix, LPC, believes her role is to provide support and help her clients find the path that is right for them. She looks at therapy from a holistic perspective, and adjusts her approach to meet whatever is needed at the time.

Sarah has experience doing individual, group, and family therapy.

As an outpatient therapist, Sarah specializes in working with clients who experience depression, suicidal ideation, anxiety management, mood regulation, low self-esteem, communication skills, social skills, impulse control, grief, life transitions, complex family dynamics, parenting stressors, and trauma. She utilizes TF-CBT, motivational interviewing, solution focused therapy, mindfulness-based CBT, and art with her clients. Sarah received her BS and MS from Virginia Commonwealth University, and has been licensed since 2021. She is also a board-approved supervisor for Residents in Counseling in Virginia. Sarah is trauma informed, LGBTQIA+ affirming and practices with cultural humility. Sarah works with families and individuals aged 4 and up.
